Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager provides consultative support and works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational design and talent management strategies and initiatives at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, strategic and workforce planning, organizational change, change management). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives.

Business/Functional Results

  • Contributes to the definition of business strategy from an HR perspective, aligning HR strategy and activities to support the delivery of business goals within supported areas of the business.
  • Defines and analyzes business needs as related to talent, HR policies and services, and makes recommendations.
  • Reviews business and HR performance measures and advises management on the human capital impacts of business decisions.

Managing Execution

  • Acts as a change agent to support the rollout of new initiatives.
  • Conducts associate and talent data analysis; uses data and analysis to provide insight for decision making in the enterprise.

Generating Talent

  • Leads workforce planning and management activities, ensuring compliance with appropriate corporate strategies, regulations and policies; and supports associate relations investigations and resolutions.

Strategic Leadership

  • Provides advice and counsel in regards to HR initiatives to supported business leaders.
  • Coaching support to leaders, managers and associates in supported areas.
  • Facilitates dialogue related to HR, talent issues and services in supported areas.

Managing Relationships

  • Strong collaboration with COEs to develop HR solutions and content for the business.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; MBA Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Business or related area
  • 8+years of experience in a Human Resources generalist role
  • Exceptional ability to work independently, be decisive and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge and experience with Human Resources best practices and models
  • Knowledge of nation-wide labor laws, regulations, and statutes
  • Strong functional Human Resources generalist skills
