Job Description

SVP Sales – Small Format

In this position you will be responsible for Small Format strategic leadership within C-store, Value, Pet, Inside Sales and Military channels. As a senior leader, your primary role will be to develop strategies to maximize growth and navigate client and customer opportunities at the most senior levels of the organization that benefit all key stakeholders.  This position has responsibility for hiring, motivating, leading and developing direct reports and subordinates. This is a national role reporting to our EVP Growth Channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Set expectations and build a roadmap for current and future growth within Small Format channels
  • Establish and nurture strong customer relationships at the top level of key customers and within the industry
  • Develop and drive strategies to exceed our client and customer expectations
  • Achieve P&L targets and manage business unit resources to deliver EBITDA objectives
  • Increase our existing clients’ business by maximizing opportunities with customers
  • Develop and grow new client relationships at the highest level
  • Provide best in class team leadership through hiring, developing, assessing and retaining talent

Qualifications:

  • Recognized leader with strong, well established industry relationships, particularly within the C-Store and Value channels
  • 15+ years of experience in direct or broker sales/management within the Consumer Package Goods Industry
  • Proven track record of quantifiable results within small format channels
  • Ability to set, communicate and achieve strategic goals for clients, customers and associates
  • Expert level Influencer
