Regional Director of Clinical Training

Our Regional Director of Clinical Training is responsible for monitoring all clinical activities related to policy and procedures, regulatory standards, supporting the process to obtain TJC certification and hospital accreditations, new center implementation, as well as the education and training of wound center clinicians and staff. This individual focuses on clinical details, following and implementing accepted standards of practice through the use of evidence-based medical principles. The ideal candidate is a dedicated patient advocate who can identify clinical improvement needs and drive outstanding clinical performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Trains and educates RXH nurses and panel physicians in the use of the Clinical Pathways
• Trains, mentors and coaches center staff and physicians to ensure adherence to RXH wound center standard operating procedures
• Periodic documentation/Performance Improvement (PI) plan review of assigned centers
• Masters all EMR databases and supports initial and ongoing training to the user community
• Address deficiencies, provide detailed deficiency list for corrective action, and assess centers for completion of plan provided
• Audits individual centers to ensure compliance with RXH policies and procedures as well as TJC requirements
• Implements remedial action plans at a center, in collaboration with RXH Regional Directors

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing required, Master’s degree preferred
• Current, active Registered Nursing license and a valid driver’s license
• 5-8 years’ experience in a wound care environment, Wound Care certification preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in a dynamic environment that places a premium on critical thinking
• 5 years of clinical management experience
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
