We are seeking a dynamic HR Compliance Partner to be responsible for strategic management and execution of various components of  the Company’s employment compliance program (including without limitation, compliance-related investigations and government agency charges/complaints, independent contractor analysis, reporting analytics and other employment compliance initiatives) to further consistency, fairness, and compliance with policy and legal requirements across the organization, in collaboration with key business stakeholders, while supporting and advancing business objectives. This position is expected to perform his/her work independently under the only general supervision of the Director of HR Compliance.

  • Investigate reported or suspected compliance-related workplace concerns.
  • Oversight and management of compliance-related investigations conducted by Associate Relations or other divisions.
  • WCP will also be responsible for preparing for and engaging in verbal and written communications with government agency representatives, drafting charge responses, representing the Company at agency proceedings.
  • Perform an individualized analysis to properly classify workers and determine if independent contractor status is appropriate.  Collaborate with managers and HR partners in the process.  Make final determination based on supporting information and prepare the agreement.
  • Establish, track and analyze compliance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategy and/or prior remedial measures; identify compliance-related trends and opportunities; and develop and implement or recommend strategies for addressing employment compliance issues.
  • Review, evaluate, and make recommendations with respect to compliance-related initiatives.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience is required; SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources Generalist experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources compliance or Employment Law
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of employment laws, regulations, policies, concepts, and practices.
  • The exceptional degree of integrity and ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality
  • Strong analytical, issue-spotting and problem-solving skills
