Embedded Strategic Planning Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales Teams to set department demo strategy, creating an implementation strategy for the Merchant.
  • Provide client/supplier forecasts, new items, big bets to the team obtained from buyers and Sales Teams with the flexibility to change while sitting on-site at the Walmart Home Office.
  • Create a playbook of yearly platforms that merchants can utilize to guide their suppliers to the most relevant demo timing for their items.
  • Forecast and create an annual demo plan, providing recommendations for demo timing etc.
  • Liaison between Demo Team, Merchant, Supplier, and Company's team, ensuring that a consistent message is being delivered to all parties.
  • Develop effective client and retailer relationships to facilitate communication and execution with internal departments to ensure that deliverables are successfully achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5 years equivalent experience; Experienced in Sales/Business Development
  • 5+ Years of experience with Walmart and experience within CPG industry and shopper marketing a plus
  • Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to Gather Data, Compile Information, & Prepare Reports
  • Well Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work Environment
