Bid Specialist

We are seeking a talented Bid Specialist to be responsible for gathering information and providing administrative support for the proposal writing process.  As part of our Bid Support Team, you will prepare responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in support of the Sales Operations team. In addition, will be reading, analyzing, and writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop successful timeline strategy for each bid.
  • Enter bid to FS Streetsmart (EStreet).
  • Gather pricing information from the client. 
  • Enter pricing information/bid requests results into EStreet. 
  • Respond timely to requests for bid pricing. 
  • Maintain spreadsheets and database information as needed. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience in Business or Sales Operations
  • 1-3 Years of experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone and through email; superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Creative problem solving and project management skills; excellent critical thinking and analytical ability
